The marked route “Po stopách pátera Josefa Toufara” runs through Kynice between Dobrnice and Číhošť. The 6 km section from Leština u Světlé via Dobrnice and Kynice to Číhošť is part of this route. The “STŘEDNÍ SEVEROVÝCHODNÍ OKRUH” circular route also passes through Kynice. A 19 km hike led via Kynice and Dobrnice to Leština; from there, the participants returned by train.

History and Culture
The chapel in Kynice’s village square was built in 1901 and is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The first record of Kynice dates from 1341. In this first mention, the village was called Knínice. In 1578, Kynice became part of the Ledeč estate.
