The Chapel of Saint Anne in Slavětín was built in 1834.

Bohumil Vavroušek was born on 25 June 1875 in Slavětín near Chotěboř. He was one of the first amateur photographers to systematically devote themselves to the photographic documentation of historic buildings and rural structures during the first third of the 20th century.

Traditions

An annual Saint Anne pilgrimage with an entertainment programme takes place in Slavětín. Slavětín also hosts an annual zabijačka, a traditional pig slaughter feast.
