Čečkovice: Holiday Apartments and Houses

Landscape and Springs

At the lower edge of Čečkovice, the valley of the nearby Doubrava begins to rise towards the ridge of the Iron Mountains. The valley rises there towards the ridge of the Iron Mountains, with the 627-metre-high Bučina; from there, it offers a beautiful view to the south.

The Stírka spring complex in Čečkovice has an average discharge of approximately 2 litres per second. It is a typical example of the drainage of siltstones and marls at the foot of the Iron Mountains.

Mount Bučina is located in the vicinity of Čečkovice, as is Mount Krkanka. Nearby are the Na Vrších hill [Rušinov] and the Bučina hill [Rušinov-Vratkov].

Getting Around

Cycle route 5127 Radostín–Golčův Jeníkov runs through Čečkovice. It is a moderately difficult, hilly road route for racing bikes and trekking bikes. The Stírka spring in Čečkovice is the fourth stop on the regional Zelená stezka route.

The recreational area at the Seč Reservoir, 11 km away, is visited by tourists and anglers.
