Paths through Bartoušov

Cycle Route No. 19 runs through Bartoušov along the Sázava–Přibyslav–Bartoušov–Havlíčkův Brod–Lipnice n/Sázavou route. The Posázavská Cycle Route follows third-class roads, asphalt, cycle paths, and forest and field tracks. A 6-kilometre cycle route connects Bartoušov with Havlíčkův Brod; it runs on asphalt and is suitable for bicycles and bicycle trailers.

Hiking routes and landscape

The 25-kilometre circular hiking trail “To the Vysoká lookout hill” leads from Mírovka via Bartoušov and Pohled back to Havlíčkův Brod. Bartoušov is the sixth stop on the 23.1-kilometre route “Karel Havlíček Borovský’s Path to the Pilgrimage Church of St Anne”.

Vysoká, a mountain, lies in the immediate vicinity of Bartoušov. Blažkov, also a mountain, lies in the wider regional area. The mountains Světka and Rosička are also located in the vicinity of Bartoušov.

Landscape by the water

The Šlapanka River forms the western boundary of Bartoušov and is 39 kilometres long. South of Bartoušov lies the Bartoušovský rybník pond; its tributary flows into the Šlapanka. Under favourable conditions, water sports enthusiasts can navigate approximately 15 kilometres of the Šlapanka.

Historical traces

In 1515, Jindřich Náz leased the “Na svatého Adamovy hory” mine located behind Bartoušov to citizens of Brno. The Orlík ruins are located in the wider regional area of Bartoušov. Smetanovy sady Park is also located in the wider regional area.
