Žižkovo Pole is a typical Horácko-style village with two parallel village greens and a stream running through the middle.

Culture and History

The Church of Saint Michael is a historic landmark of Žižkovo Pole. The single-nave rectangular church was modified in the Baroque period and has Gothic origins. A large wayside cross marks the place where Jan Žižka died.

Nature and Trails

Mount Světka, Mount Vysoká, Mount Rosička and Mount Blažkov are located in the vicinity of Žižkovo Pole. A double-sided avenue of linden trees runs along Road II/351 on the Dobrá–Žižkovo Pole–Macourov section.

The Karel Havlíček Borovský Educational Trail passes through Žižkovo Pole and is suitable for hiking. From the Žižkovo Pole signpost, the red-marked route leads 1 km to Žižka's Mound.
