Nature

The Stvořidla Nature Reserve protects a fast-flowing section of the Sázava River, as well as rock vegetation in rock fissures, spring areas, oak-hornbeam forests, beech forests and ash-alder floodplain forests. The nature reserve also protects an ecologically and aesthetically valuable geomorphological complex of a breakthrough valley, particularly the stony riverbed of the Sázava and the adjacent floodplain.

Cycling and Hiking Trails

The Posázavská cycling route passes through Trpišovice; the village is located at kilometre 65.2 of the route between Stvořidla and Ledeč nad Sázavou. A hiking trail leads via Dobrovítova Lhota down to Stvořidla and then continues along the red trail towards Smrčná.

River and Accessibility

The six-kilometre section of the Sázava near Stvořidla is suitable for recreational boating. The section of the Sázava near Stvořidla, characterised by large rocks, is used by water sports enthusiasts. Stvořidla can be reached by road, via a path along the river, or by train on the Posázavský Pacifik railway between Světlá nad Sázavou and Čerčany.

Landscape and Village Character

Mount Melechov is located in the vicinity of Trpišovice. Koňkovice is considered the central village of Trpišovice; Melechov rises above the village, with a ruin dating from the 15th century.
