History and Architectural Heritage

Krátká Ves was first mentioned on January 22, 1303. The Chapel of the Holy Trinity was built in May 1853. Its construction was financed through a community collection and voluntary labor.

Pilgrimage and Paths

The pilgrimage site of Svatá Anna, with a Rococo church built in 1760 and consecrated in 1761, is located near Krátká Ves. The pilgrimage to Svatá Anna traditionally takes place on the weekend after Saint Anne’s name day.

The footpath from the center of Krátká Ves to the pilgrimage site of Svatá Anna, created in 2016, is also frequently used by cyclists. The avenue of linden trees connecting Pohled with Svatá Anna is 2.5 kilometers long.
