Sobíňov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Sobíňov is presented particularly vividly on the Sobíňov Educational Trail: it has a station dedicated to the Železné hory Protected Landscape Area, where visitors can learn why the protected area was established and which remarkable places can be found in the Železné hory. Another station is devoted to the Liběcká Trail and its former military and later trading history. The educational trail is suitable for hikers and mountain bikers and starts and ends at the Sobíňov municipal office.

Nature

The Niva Doubravy Nature Reserve protects submontane and montane Nardus grasslands, mesic common oat meadows, wet cabbage thistle meadows, peatlands and swamps with significant plant and animal species dependent on these habitats.

History and Culture

Tvrziště Soběnov was built to protect the Liběcká Trail. It is located at a point where the Liběcká Trail divided into a footpath and a route for horse-drawn vehicles.

The Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary is located in Sopoty, a settlement in Sobíňov, and has an almost completely preserved Baroque organ.

Geographical Location

Mount Světka is located in the surroundings of Sobíňov. The Žákova hora and Vysoká mountains are situated in the wider regional area around Sobíňov. The hill (Kominík) [Chotěboř-Bílek] is located nearby. Březinka Hill offers views of the peaks of the Ranský Massif and the Žďárské vrchy.
