Vepříkov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Vepříkov takes you through the history, present and sights of the village over a short distance. The Vepříkov Educational Trail is less than two kilometres long and presents precisely these topics.

Culture and Local History

In the centre of Vepříkov stands a chapel built in 1936. Services are held there for pilgrimages and the church fair. The World War memorial commemorates the 20 residents of Vepříkov who lost their lives in the First World War.

The exhibition Stodola krásných krámů shows how people used to live, which objects and tools they used, and which crafts and other occupations were practised in this region. The Stodola krásných krámů museum can be visited from Monday to Sunday by telephone appointment.

Bike Ride and Special Events

The Tour de Vepříkov is a traditional bike ride in Vepříkov; in 2022, it took place for the 13th time. At the Vepříkovská lávka, local hunters organise a crossing of a pond.

In March 2022, the local firefighters held the Vepřové hody at the local inn in Vepříkov; at that time, the event took place again after half a year. Prdelačka, Prejt and Kroupy, pork slaughter goulash, Ovar and grilled liver were served on site.
