Nepomyšl: Vacation Apartments and Holiday Homes

Nepomyšl showcases its history through striking architectural forms and distinctive monument details. Nepomyšl Chateau has the shape of a 16-sided polygon on the outside and a nine-sided polygon in the courtyard. It originated from a fortress probably founded in the first half of the 14th century. The chateau is not open to the public.

Culture

The Gothic Church of St. Nicholas in Nepomyšl was founded in the mid-14th century. It contains fragments of Gothic wall paintings from the 14th and 15th centuries. In front of the church stands a Baroque statue of Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of the market town of Nepomyšl, dating from 1907. The Church of St. Nicholas can be visited by prior arrangement with the municipal office.

The chapel was restored in the 1990s, restored again in 2018, and reconsecrated in 2019.

Paths and Landmarks

A blue-marked hiking trail leads from Nepomyšl via Dvérce, Dětaň, and Kružínský vrch to Kryry. Cycle Route 35 runs along the western edge of the cadastral area of Nepomyšl, while Cycle Route 3080 is located in the immediate vicinity of Nepomyšl.

On a hill on the outskirts of Nepomyšl, near the kaolin works, stands a protected linden tree approximately 320 years old. On the road toward Brody, on the right, stands a statue of the Expectant Virgin Mary erected in 1712.

Public bus services in Nepomyšl operate exclusively on weekdays. The weekday bus connections from Nepomyšl are oriented toward Podbořany.
