Lukavec U Lovosic: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In Lukavec, Lukavec Chateau stands on the site of an older fortress founded by Mikuláš Kuneš in 1543. The Lukavec chateau complex dates from the second half of the 18th century and was completely reconstructed between 2019 and 2020.

History and Sacred Architecture

The Chapel of Saint Procopius is located in Lukavec. After the 2002 flood, it was repaired and reconsecrated at the end of 2003; a festive Mass was held on 26 December 2003.

The historical site “Theresienstadt concentration camp and ghetto” is located in the vicinity of Lukavec. The ruins of Hazmburk and Hrádek are also located nearby. The mountains of Lovoš, Jezerka, Košťál and Hradiště u Hlinné are likewise situated in the vicinity of Lukavec. Further afield in the region around Lukavec lies Hrad Střekov Castle.

Cycling and Sport

A cycling tour in the Bohemian Garnet region is 56 km long and includes 304 m of ascent and 304 m of descent. The route follows minor roads through Keblice and Lukavec back to Lovosice and forms a loop between Lovosice and the surrounding villages.

Lukavec has a sports facility with a football pitch, bowling alley, children's playground, tennis court and streetball court.
