Petrikovice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Levínské Petrovice stretches along a road running through the village; the loosely distributed buildings stand on their own plots.

Culture

The chapel stands in the centre of Levínské Petrovice by the road. It is a square building with a rendered stone base and a vertically boarded wooden section topped by a pyramidal thatched roof. It is registered as an immovable cultural monument under registration number 2157.

In front of the bell tower in Levínské Petrovice stands a preserved cast-iron cross on a stone base in Empire style, dating from 1859. The village also retains vernacular wooden buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries, including in particular the log houses at house numbers 19, 18 and 22. The masonry houses from the second half of the 19th century include house no. 12, with pilasters and stucco elements. The rear part of the house is built partly using timber framing and has a recessed wooden gallery.

Nature

The municipality of Lovečkovice, to which Levínské Petrovice belongs, lies in the České středohoří Protected Landscape Area.

Orientation

The Levínské Petrovice rozc. bus stop is 700 metres from the village centre, at the intersection of roads II/240 and III/24080. Road III/24080 leads from Levínské Petrovice via Horní Bukovina and Bukovina to Starý Týn.

At the western edge of the village, near a former railway crossing, was the former Levínské Petrovice stop, approximately 250 metres from the intersection with road II/240. At 515 metres above sea level, it was the second-highest railway station on the line. Today, no visible trace of this former stop remains.
