Blažim: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Blažim is home to the Church of St. Procopius and Blažim Fortress. The church is a Baroque church built between 1778 and 1781.

Buildings and History

Blažim Fortress was first mentioned in 1390. It has been preserved in the original layout of the eastern part of the former courtyard and is a powerful, single-storey building on a slight elevation in the middle of the village square. A statue of St. John of Nepomuk also stands in Blažim on the shore of a pond.

The mountains of Raná, Oblík, Dlouhá and Číčov are located in the surrounding area of Blažim. The 55-kilometre circular route “Lounský okruh Českým středohořím I.” runs via Louny, Mělce, Březno, Postoloprty, Rvenice, Bitozeves, Tatinná, Velemyšleves, Blažim, Výškov, Počerady, Břvany, Milá, Hrádek, Raná, Dobroměřický Pond, Stříbrník and Dobroměřice, returning to Louny.
