In Milovice, you can begin the Mikulov–Sedlec–Hlohovec–Nejdek–Bulhary–Milovice–Pavlov–Klentnice–Mikulov cycling circuit; it includes the marked routes 41, Lednická stezka, 5043, Moravská vinná stezka and 5044.

Nature

The Milovická stráň Nature Reserve covers 87.54 hectares and has been protected since 1 July 1994. It protects loess steppes, herb-rich fringes, and open oak and oak-hornbeam forests. More than 200 plant species can be found in the reserve; it is also home to the only known site in the Czech lands of Orobanche teucrii.

Culture and Local History

The core of the church in Milovice dedicated to Saint Oswald probably dates from the end of the 15th century. The small church in Milovice dedicated to Saint Oswald (Gothard) dates from the 17th century. The archaeological site around St. Oswald’s Church marks the probable extent of medieval Milovice.

The Krojované hody Milovice were announced for 2025 and 2026. The announced programme for 2026 included folklore and the raising of a maypole.
