The Vinné búdy Pod Starou horou in Blatnice pod Svatým Antonínkem form a protected monument reserve. The 350-meter-high Svatý Antonínek lies between Blatnice pod Svatým Antonínkem and Ostrožská Lhota and forms the westernmost foothill of the White Carpathians.

Culture

The wine cellars in the Pod Starou horou monument reserve have above-ground press houses arranged in a single row. The Blatnické Museum features an exhibition of a sewing workshop with 30 sewing machines, as well as a collection of 13,000 buttons. Through handicraft tools, household equipment, components of folk costumes, historical photographs, and documents, it conveys what local life was like.

Pilgrimage and Landscape

The chapel on Svatý Antonínek is open to pilgrims and tourists year-round. Pilgrimages are regularly held on Svatý Antonínek, including the local pilgrimage and the main pilgrimage in June, the Thanksgiving and Harvest Pilgrimage on the last Sunday in August, and the All Souls' Pilgrimage in October.

Wine and Traditions

The traditional Blatnické vinobraní wine harvest festival, with open wine cellars, offers wine and Burčák tastings and includes a folk costume procession and a cultural program. During the Putování po blatnických búdách event, around 30 local wine cellars are open to visitors.

Discoveries

At each station along the Planetární stezka planetary trail, there is a scale model of a planet and an information board with basic details and additional information about the respective planet. The nearby Střečkův kopec natural monument lies approximately 1.5 kilometers northeast of Blatnice pod Svatým Antonínkem and can be reached via a clay field track.
