In Blatnička, Tradice Slovácka operates a workshop for folk costumes in a reconstructed, 100-year-old school building and is committed to preserving local costume traditions. The workshop in the building of a former school offers exhibitions and lectures; there is also a permanent exhibition on folk costumes.

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is part of the local history. It was consecrated on 3 July 1938 and stands on the site of a much older church that burned down in the 17th century.

The artwork “Znamení svatého Izidora” was installed at the pavilion at the entrance to Blatnička in 2016. The story of Saint Isidore was intended to be displayed on a panel at the pavilion a short time later.

Nature

Borky is a protected natural monument on the southeastern edge of Blatnička and is formed by an artificial cut along a local road. Flysch sediments are exposed at the site; the boundary between the Paleocene and Eocene is visible there. Fossils of marine animals and traces left by them have also been found.

Borky can be reached by car without access restrictions; the site is within a distance of 250 metres.

Kobylí Hlava is a mountain in the immediate vicinity of Blatnička. Hradisko is a mountain in the vicinity of Blatnička. Lesná is also a mountain in the vicinity of Blatnička, as is Kobyla.

Cycling tours

The cycling tour “Po vinařských stezkách” passes through Blatnička and includes a section of the Strážnická vinařská stezka.
