Sobůlky: Apartments and Holiday Homes

Sobůlky combines archaeological traces, Baroque religious buildings, viticulture and a varied landscape. The Vala archaeological site preserves a prehistoric hillfort with surviving fortifications, followed by the remains of a medieval castle.

Culture and History

The Baroque statue of Saint John of Nepomuk from 1721 is one of the registered national cultural monuments in Sobůlky. The protected Chapel of Saint Helena was built in 1734 by the Dluhoš family.

The Sobůlské Museum is presented by the municipality as an art photography gallery. Local traditions include the Martinské hody festival: it takes place in the first half of November, lasts four days and preserves traditional local customs.

Landscape and Trails

The surroundings of Sobůlky combine mixed forests, fields, vineyards and pastureland. The landscape around Sobůlky offers views across the Kyjovsko region to the White Carpathians.

The surroundings of Sobůlky are suitable for walks, hikes, cycling trips and cross-country skiing in winter. The Kyjovská Wine Trail passes through Sobůlky and then descends into the Kyjovka Valley.

The Syslíkovo království route features viewpoints, interactive elements, a large slide, a zip line and a public fire pit.

Wine and Local Traditions

Around the turn of April and May, local winemakers hold a wine tasting featuring a wide selection of samples from the surrounding municipalities and wine-growing regions.
