Čejkovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

More than 500 hectares of grapevines are cultivated in Čejkovice; there are also several dozen wineries. The individual wineries can be visited throughout the year, with local winemakers welcoming guests and presenting their wines.

History and Culture

The T. G. Masaryk House in Čejkovice is a museum with a permanent exhibition about the life of T. G. Masaryk. It is also the last surviving building in South Moravia where Masaryk lived during his childhood; guided tours can be booked there.

The Church of St. Kunhuta in Čejkovice points to its foundation by German Templars in the 13th century. Its tower is 42 metres high and was added between 1890 and 1892. Every year on the third Sunday in August, Čejkovice hosts traditional krojované Hody celebrations commemorating the consecration of the Church of St. Kunhuta.

Nature

The Špidláky slopes in Čejkovice have been among the specially protected areas since 1992. More than 200 plant species grow on Špidláky, including around 80 listed in the Red List of Threatened Species.
