In the centre of the village square in Kelčany stands the Chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary. It dates from 1817 and was reconstructed in 2013.
Culture and History
Near Chrást stands a historic wooden cross made of oak, approximately 5.5 m high and located there since 1810. The cross is listed as a cultural monument; three lime trees at its location were declared memorial trees in 2005.
The “Kelčanský svátek” is a traditional local custom in Kelčany: the Feast of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, accompanied by a procession.
