Újezd U Přelouče: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
The oldest historic building in Újezd u Přelouče is the Church of St. Giles. A church dedicated to St. Giles already stood here before 1384. The present Baroque building was erected in 1703 on medieval foundations and remodelled again at the end of the 18th century. North of the church stands a small Baroque wooden bell tower with a rectangular ground plan and a pyramid-shaped shingle roof. In 1576, the bell tower had two bells; today, only one remains. The church also contains an organ built by Josef Ignác Welzel in 1855.
Remembrance
The war memorial in Újezd u Přelouče commemorates those who fell in the First and Second World Wars. Commemorative ceremonies are regularly held at the memorial.

The area around Újezd u Přelouče includes forests and ponds that are suitable for relaxation and leisure activities. Local events include the summer dance events organised by TJ Sokol. They have become an important social occasion for young people from the wider area.
Events
During Pálení čarodějnic, participants meet at the chapel at 5 p.m. From there, they proceed in a procession to the fire and are then offered light refreshments at the Maypole celebration in the cultural area. The traditional Christmas tree lighting event began on 2 December 2023 at 5 p.m. at the Christmas tree in the village square. It then continued in the cultural area with traditional refreshments, a Christmas workshop for children and singing by the singer Mašková.
