Rohovládova Bělá: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Rohovládova Bělá combines a history documented as far back as 1282 with the Neo-Renaissance Church of Saints Peter and Paul. The first written record of the place dates from 1282 and concerns the founding of a wooden chapel dedicated to Saint George, built by the owners of Bukůvkové Fortress. After a fire in 1750 damaged the village centre and, among other things, the former wooden church with its bell tower, the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul acquired its present appearance in 1768. There is also a pastry shop in the village.

Culture and History

In the centre of Rohovládova Bělá, in front of the Church of St Peter and Paul, stands a memorial to the victims of the First World War. Rohovládova Bělá is also home to a stone cross, a memorial to the fallen and a Guardian Angel monument.

Getting Around

The shared pedestrian and cycle route between Rohovládova Bělá and Bukovka was built along Road II/211. It is almost 773 metres long and 2.5 metres wide.

There are bus connections from Rohovládova Bělá to Pardubice, Přelouč, Chlumec nad Cidlinou and Dobřenice. In Dobřenice, there is a train connection to Hradec Králové.
