Choltice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Culture and History
According to surviving sources, the Baroque Château of Choltice was completed around 1680 in the Early Baroque style. The chapel of Choltice Château is dedicated to the Tyrolean saint Romedius of Thaur, who is otherwise unknown in the Czech Republic, and features a unique iconographic and hagiographic concept.
The wooden bell tower of Choltice dates from 1863 and was built in the Alpine style. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the main gate to the château grounds. The cemetery complex of Choltice was established in 1787 and forms an unusual ensemble of sacred buildings and natural areas.
There is a disc golf course in the park behind Choltice Château, which is free of charge and accessible at any time.
