Srch offers a varied perspective on nature, culture and community traditions.

Nature

The Baroch Nature Reserve encompasses areas in the cadastral territories of Srch and Hrobice. In the vicinity of Srch, it is an important ornithological landscape with grazing areas for wild horses and buffalo. The Naučná stezka Srch is an entertaining educational trail that provides information about life in the forest. It has ten stations with information boards and interactive elements and begins behind the football pitch in Srch.

Rybník Olšina (Vraťák) is a popular habitat for several amphibian species, particularly the marsh frog and the green toad. Fishing at Rybník Olšina (Vraťák) is only possible with a special permit.

Culture

Pernštýnská vodárna is registered in Srch as an immovable cultural monument under Czech registration number 51001/6-6193. The Pernštýnská waterworks in Srch is an underground water facility dating from 1515, built under William II of Pernstein and serving as a water reservoir to supply the fountain on Pardubice town square and Pardubice Castle. Panchártkova's Pear Tree was declared a memorial tree on 7 April 2004.

Experiences

The traditional fishing competition “O stříbrný háček” organised by the municipality of Srch took place for the 19th time on 14 June 2025 at Vraťák in Srch. On 26 April 2026, a traditional fishing course for children with disabilities took place at Vraťák Pond in Srch.

At the traditional “Strašidelná stezka” in Srch on 15 November 2025, there was a mysterious labyrinth for younger children as well as a forest route for older children and adults. The traditional event “Příjezd Martina na bílém koni” in Srch on 8 November 2025 featured a lantern procession as well as songs and poems performed by children.
