Activities

The pump track in Vratimov is a closed cycling course with rollers and berms that allow riders to maintain and increase their speed. Its approximately 140 m-long main track is complemented by a smaller pump track of approximately 40 m for beginners and younger children; the pump track is open to the public and free of charge.

The Vratimov skatepark and bike park are freely accessible within the enclosed sports complex. The 548 m² concrete park features sports obstacles for skateboards, scooters and bicycles. In addition, the Ostrava–Beskydy cycle path includes the Vratimov–Sviadnov section and is intended exclusively for non-motorised traffic.

Nature

Důlňák is a forest covering approximately 125 hectares, consisting predominantly of deciduous trees, with oaks and beeches prevailing, in the Podbeskydská pahorkatina region. The start and finish of the Důlňák fitness trails are at the forest entrance from K Hájence road, near house no. 155.

In Vratimov–Horní Datyně, the Datyňský hraniční dub stands as a commemorative tree on a triangular lawn bordered by local roads.

Water

Koupaliště Vratimov features a heated stainless-steel pool measuring 42 × 17 m with two swimming lanes, water massage, additional water attractions and a two-level paddling pool for children. Koupaliště has three snack stands with seating terraces; during the swimming pool’s operating hours, at least one snack stand is always open.

Culture

The Church of Saint John the Baptist in Vratimov is a monument of local significance. The Chapel of Saint Anthony in Horní Datyně is also a monument of local significance.
