Olbramice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Olbramice lies in the foothills of the Vítkovská pahorkatina hills and at the beginning of the Oderské vrchy Nature Park. The highest point in the municipality is Vrchpolí at 376 m.
History and Culture
The first written record of Olbramice dates back to 1377. The Church of St Bartholomew is part of the village’s history: it has Gothic origins and was remodelled in the Baroque style around 1750. There is also a memorial lime tree by the church with a trunk circumference of more than 668 cm.
East of Olbramice, in the direction of Klimkovice, there is a cross erected after the First World War in memory of Alois, the son who was lost in the First World War.
Cycling Routes
Cycle Route No. 6011 passes through Olbramice, running from Bartošovice via Studénka, Velké Albrechtice, Bílovec, Olbramice and Klimkovice to Polanka n. O. Cycle Route No. 6191 runs from Bravantice rozc. via Olbramice and Zbyslavice to the rozc. U Patra junction. Due to several sections that are difficult to ride, Cycle Route No. 6191 is suitable only for mountain bikes.
Events
The Olbramice Beer Festival is one of the traditional events in Olbramice. The “Den obce” event takes place at the end of August.
