The Stonavská pouť has taken place every year in July since 1911 and is attended by thousands of visitors from the entire region.
Culture
The church dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene was declared a cultural monument by the Czech Ministry of Culture on 23 January 1992. Since 1950, the Protestant church in Stonava has been the centre of an independent congregation; the Protestant church in Kateřina was completed in 1938.
Events and Traditions
The Stonavské dožínky are scheduled for Sunday, 30 August 2026, in PZKO Park in Stonava as a celebration marking the end of summer and commemorating harvest traditions. At this event, visitors will be offered traditional homemade products, kolaches and pork specialities.

Stonava’s sports complex includes an athletics track, which also hosts athletics competitions, not only at regional level. A pump track expanded the range of sports facilities in Stonava in 2018. Stonava Sports Hall offers indoor football, volleyball, basketball and floorball. The Běh přátelství is an event held in Stonava in May.
