Těrlicko: Vacation Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Těrlická Reservoir has an area of 227 hectares, is up to 24 metres deep and has a capacity of more than 27 million cubic metres. It is used for seasonal summer recreation, particularly swimming, sunbathing and water sports. The Těrlická Reservoir also has a floating observation pier, which is ideal for watching the sunset.

Water and Nature

The Těrlické mokřady educational trail is approximately 2.5 kilometres long and leads through floodplain forest and wetlands along the Stonávka stream. Information panels explain the local ecosystems.

Culture and Art

During the restoration of a painting from the Church of St. Lawrence in Těrlicko-Kostelec, a unique Late Gothic panel painting was uncovered. The discovery of the Madonna of Těrlicko is of great significance for heritage conservation and art history. The restored Madonna painting was returned to the Church of St. Lawrence in Těrlicko-Kostelec.

Těrlicko Sculpture Park features original sculptures and objects created during international symposia. It forms an open-air gallery with stone and metal sculptures distributed throughout a natural setting and offers views of the Těšínské Beskydy.

The “Kończyce Małe - Zamek XV w.” Castle is located in the vicinity of Těrlicko. The mountains of Ropička, Javorový, Gora Chełm and Kyčera lie in the wider regional surroundings of Těrlicko.
