Paskov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Paskov Castle has been a protected cultural monument since 1958. The existence of Paskov can be reliably dated back to the first half of the 13th century.

Culture and History

The entrance ensemble of Paskov Castle includes buildings in the outer bailey area as well as Baroque statues of Saint John of Nepomuk and Saint Sebastian. The Chapel of Saint Elisabeth of Thuringia is attached to the outside of the four-winged Paskov Castle building; stucco decoration has been preserved on its vaults.

The stone Church of St. Lawrence in Paskov was built in 1740 in the peasant Baroque style. Its complex, with an enclosing wall and chapels, has been undergoing revitalisation since 2024; completion is planned for 2027. Paskov Castle is currently closed to the public during extensive renovation work that began in spring 2025; completion is expected in autumn 2026.

Nature

Paskov Castle Park is accessible year-round: from April to September from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and from October to March from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The northern part of Paskov Castle Park features rare woody plants and the Říčka watercourse.

Routes

The historical information trail through Paskov comprises ten stations and can begin at Paskov Square. The Paskov–Vratimov cycle route, suitable for bicycles, begins at Paskov Castle.
