The Morávka River flows through the entire municipality of Nižní Lhoty. The section in Nižní Lhoty is designated as the Skalická Morávka National Nature Monument. This natural monument serves to preserve a natural, braided section of the Morávka flowing through gravel deposits, with characteristic communities and natural forest stands.

Natural Environment

The mountains of Kykulka, Ropička, Malchor and Ostrá are located in the vicinity of Nižní Lhoty. The wider regional area also includes Kończyce Małe Castle – Zamek XV w.

Sport and Culture

Víceúčelové sportovní hřiště includes a children’s playground with a playhouse, slide, climbing wall, spring rockers and an asphalt oval for roller skating or riding scooters. Víceúčelové sportovní hřiště is used for various sports, including nohejbal, volleyball and roller skating, as well as hockey and ice skating in winter. Cultural events also take place throughout the year at the Víceúčelové sportovní hřiště multi-purpose sports field.

One route passes the Roman Catholic Chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, which was built in 1946. The Hasičská zbrojnice was built in 1931 using donations from local residents.

Local Special Features

Nošovice sauerkraut, which has a protected designation of origin, is produced in Nižní Lhoty. Dates for the Pouťové odpoledne are recorded for 1 June 2025 and 31 May 2026 in Nižní Lhoty.
