Dolní Domaslavice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Žermanická Reservoir lies on the Lučina River, extends partly across Dolní Domaslavice, and has a water surface of approximately 250 hectares. It is used for recreation and offers excellent conditions for water sports, including windsurfing.

Water and Landscape

The “VN Žermanice – Dolní Domaslavice” bathing area is located below the Dolní Domaslavice campsite. It has a grass beach with a shallow entry into the water. The campsite has a snack stand, toilets, and showers; there are no lifeguards or medical staff.

Heights and Trails

At 378.6 metres above sea level, U lípek is the highest point in Dolní Domaslavice and offers extensive views of the surrounding area.

The Prašivá educational trail has a branch that begins in Dolní Domaslavice and ends at the summit of Malá Prašivá mountain. Cycle route 6090 runs from Dolní Domaslavice to Český Těšín.

History and Culture

The parish Church of Saint James the Greater lies on the boundary between Horní and Dolní Domaslavice. Historically, it formed the shared centre of both municipalities. Today, the church is once again a spiritual centre where the residents of both Domaslavice municipalities meet.

The former château of Dolní Domaslavice was a small Neoclassical manor house with Empire-style elements, built in 1804.

A corner interior in the vestibule of the municipal office now commemorates the Slezská jizba of the former museum. The historic Domaslavské Museum contained 1,390 inventory items.
