Přílepy: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Directly above Přílepy, Přílepská skála lies on a wooded hill surrounded by fields. The climbing area offers numerous bouldering and endurance routes; the central wall is about 12 metres high. Climbing at Přílepská skála is permitted year-round, but authorization is only valid for members of the ČHS.

Nature

Bahna u Přílep is a registered significant landscape feature and a wetland site. The Džbán and Loustín mountains are located around Přílepy. The nearby area also includes Ptačí vrch hill [Pšovlky] and Blatina hill [Rakovník].

History

The well-known Přílepák sandstone was quarried mainly in the penultimate century in the local quarries for millstones, statues and other stonework. The originally late Baroque crucifix in the lower part of Přílepy’s elongated rectangular village square bears the year 1764. House No. 2 in Přílepy is a historic inn with a Baroque gable design.

Culture

The Přílepská pouť is a traditional gathering of local residents and friends of the municipality in the park on the village square. The 2022 edition of the Přílepská pouť was a family celebration.

The Zřícenina Pravda ruins and the Týřov ruins are located in the wider regional surroundings of Přílepy. The U Svatého Gotharda church is located nearby; the Svatý Prokop monument is also situated in the wider regional surroundings.
