Nepřevázka: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Two newly created cycle paths and a restored trail start directly from Nepřevázka. A forest path also leads from Nepřevázka to Chloumek.

Nature

Chlum Nature Park consists of wooded and grass-covered slopes. It is home to 54 endangered plant species and has also been included in Natura 2000 as a site of European importance.

The Chlum educational trail initially leads through flower-rich meadows behind Nepřevázka. Behind Chloumek, it runs along the edge of thermophilous oak forests and leads to the well-known Švédské šance hillfort. Below the Chloumek hunting lodge, a drinking-water spring feeds a fountain where visitors can refresh themselves.

History and Culture

Švédské šance is an earth rampart dating from the time when the landscape was first settled. In the Early Middle Ages, a heavily fortified settlement of the Slavic Charváti tribe was established at Švédské šance. Archaeological finds indicate that Švédské šance has been inhabited since the Paleolithic.

A memorial plaque at the hunting lodge in Chloumek commemorates Bedřich Smetana’s stay. The chapel in Nepřevázka is worth visiting.
