Culture and Townscape

The Chapel of the Seven Maccabean Brothers was built in 1885 and is a pseudo-Gothic monument in Koryta. The chapel’s carved polychrome altar was made around 1885. The altar and the chapel’s remaining wooden furnishings are designed in the Neo-Gothic style.

A cross dating from 1821 stands in the park by the municipal office.

Landscape

The Lysá mountain is located in the wider regional area around Koryta. In the immediate vicinity of Koryta are the hill (Hrubý Kus) [Chocnějovice-Sovenice], Slavín Hill [Loukov u Mnichova Hradiště] and the hill (Na Stráni) [Svijanský Újezd].

Events

A traditional open-air theatre performance was announced for 18 June 2022 at the children’s playground in Koryta. Catering was planned as part of this announced performance. A concert by the group ABBY.cz was announced for 26 August 2022 at the sports ground in Koryta.
