Culture and Village Character

Neveklovice is home to a protected immovable cultural monument: a rural Classicist chapel with a bell tower dating from 1800. The chapel is one of the architecturally valuable buildings in Neveklovice and is registered under identification number 30825/2-3595.

Near the chapel on the village green stands a group of two small-leaved lime trees designated as memorial trees; it is registered under code 3779. The ring-shaped village green of Neveklovice is designated as being of urban-planning value. House No. 8 is also designated as an architecturally valuable log cabin.

History

Since ancient times, a historic country road to Zittau has run through Neveklovice. In 1895, old pagan graves, urns and cremation sites were discovered while cultivating fields in Neveklovice.
