Milý: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Milská stráň Nature Reserve, located northeast in the vicinity of Milý, is particularly distinctive. It protects heat-loving plant and animal communities on marly, so-called white slopes, including the occurrence of the lady's slipper orchid. The area is also known for a strong population of purple orchids.

Nature

Near Milý, a transmission mast stands in Džbán Nature Park on the slope of Vošková Hill; from there, views open out over the Slánsko and Kladensko regions.

Cycling

The 17.5-kilometre route “Borovice – Stožár GSM” runs via Pozdeň, Hřešice, Srbeč, Bdín and Milý, then continues via Srbeč back to Pozdeň. The route passes a BTS transmission mast and then descends to Milý.

Culture

The village square is home to the Baroque Chapel of Saint Michael, dating from 1736. It was restored from 1968 to 1972. The protected cultural monument of the Chapel of Saint Michael in Milý comprises the chapel and plot no. st. 1.

In the centre of Milý are historic farmsteads dating from around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Many of these historic farmsteads retain ensembles of agricultural buildings.

Routes and classification

The road between Srbeč and Hříškov passes through Milý. A blue-marked hiking trail also passes through Milý, while a yellow-marked hiking trail ends there.

The telecommunications mast on Vošková was the first transmission mast installed in the Czech Republic to be disguised as an artificial tree.
