Řevničov: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Řevničov has a history documented from an early date: the village was founded on the basis of a founding charter signed by John of Luxembourg on 4 November 1325 in Münnerstadt, Bavaria. The Church of St Peter and Paul in Řevničov is mentioned as early as 1352 and was later rebuilt in a late Baroque style.

Culture and Villagescape

The historic village square of Řevničov has been preserved to this day. Another prominent building is the Chapel of St Anne, which dates from 1830. Oličova Vila (House No. 138) is an architecturally interesting building made of hand-worked Džbán marlstone.

Local traditions are also tied to fixed dates: the Řevničovská pouť is celebrated on the feast of Saints Peter and Paul. The Řevničovské posvícení always takes place on the third Sunday in October.

The Prameny Klíčavy Nature Reserve is located 500 metres south of Řevničov railway station. In Křivoklátsko, PR Prameny Klíčavy is the only bog-spring locality of its kind. Marked hiking trails run through the surroundings of Řevničov.

Railway line No. 120 between Prague and Rakovník runs through Řevničov; a railway station is located in the area of the Řevničov sawmill. Public transport in Řevničov comprises seven stops served in both directions.
