Lašovice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Lašovice is closely associated with the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area: the Lašovický stream and the road between Pavlíkov and Pustověty form the boundary of the protected area within the territory of Lašovice. The stream flows through the eastern part of the village and joins the Rakovnický stream near the railway station. Lašovice railway station is integrated into the public transport system.

Nature and landscape

The surroundings of Lašovice are intensively used for agriculture. Forested areas increase towards the valley of the Rakovnický stream. Thus, open agricultural areas and increasingly wooded sections meet in the immediate vicinity of the village.

History and culture

Lašovice was first mentioned in writing in 1143; at that time, the village was recorded as the property of Strahov Premonstratensian Monastery. Visible cultural landmarks include the Baroque stone statue of Saint John of Nepomuk from the 18th century. It stands beside a country road about 180 m west of the edge of Lašovice, on the road to Všetaty, and is an immovable cultural monument with registration number 22671/22674. The exterior, including the roof of the Lašovice bell tower, was repaired. A preserved timber-framed barn also stands at house number 12.

Cycling and hiking trails

A cycling tour along the Rakovnický stream passes through Lašovice. Cycle Route No. 303 between Rakovník and Křivoklát is part of the Berounka–Střela Greenway, while Cycle Route No. 0046 runs through the Lašovice area. A red-marked hiking trail maintained by the Czech Tourist Club reaches the edge of Lašovice.
