Culture and History

The protected Hořín chateau grounds include the Church of Saint John of Nepomuk, a park and a romantic ruin. The chateau was built around 1696 to a design by Alliprandi; it is currently undergoing extensive reconstruction to restore the cultural monument and convert it into a hotel.

The Lobkowicz funeral chapel in Hořín comprises an octagonal tomb building. It is situated on a raised terrace of the cemetery and can be reached via a stone staircase next to a semicircular wall with gravestones.
