Šestajovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
One of Šestajovice’s special features is RODAS Šestajovice: The complex includes the first Czech museum of wax production and nativity scenes. The workshops of the chocolate, candle and soap manufactories, as well as the mini-farm, are also open to the public during their respective opening hours. Visitors can take part in excursions, make their own products in the workshops, visit the museum of wax production and nativity scenes, and visit the mini-farm.
Culture and History
The historic centre of Šestajovice is located on and around Náměstí 9. května. It features an oval green area, a chapel, a monument to those who fell in the world wars, and seating. The first buildings that formed the basis of the municipality of Šestajovice were constructed in these places at the beginning of the 13th century.
Nature and Trails
The Botanical Garden in Šestajovice is freely accessible. Benches and a covered seating area are available to visitors; the latter forms part of the adjacent cycle path.
