History

Prusice was first mentioned in surviving records in 1228. In 1359, Margrave Karel gave Prusice, with the approval of King Jan Lucemburský, to the All Saints Chapter at Prague Castle. At the end of the 15th century, Prusice came into the possession of the Čabelických ze Soutic family, which still held the village in 1541. In 1677, a small water mill stood by the stream near House No. 9 in Prusice.
