Dobročovice: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In the center of Dobročovice, Dobročovický rybník forms the central feature of the village square. On the south side of the village square, next to the main road, stands the Chapel of St. Isidore.

Culture

The late Baroque Chapel of St. Isidore was built around 1700 on the site of an older chapel dating from the time of the plague. The present chapel dates from 1771 and was built at the expense of Duchess Marie Terezie Savojské.

A stone two-arch bridge is located on the road leading northwest, at the Výmola stream. The history of the Dobročovice fortress includes the fact that it belonged to the Prague burgher Martin Rotlev z Koloděj in 1403. Before 1415, Bohuslav, the son of Prokop of Prague, acquired the Dobročovice fortress; after 1426, he lived there until around 1465.

Nature

Dobročovický rybník has riparian vegetation on its eastern side and at the inflow of the Dobročovický potok. The old willows by the pond are among the most valuable trees in the area.

The Králičina a Povýmolí natural monument protects wet meadow ecosystems, flooded reed beds, and small wetlands along the Výmola River. It includes areas in Dobročovice and Úvaly.

Orientation

The traditional children's fishing tournament will take place at the pond in Dobročovice on August 29, 2026. At the time in question, no hiking trails passed through the area of Dobročovice.
