Events

Bramborákiáda is a traditional competition to find the best potato pancake. A perpetual trophy and a sack of potatoes are awarded at the event. The annual Čarodějnice festival, featuring the traditional burning of a witch effigy, takes place in the village square in the central part of Zlatá.

Setkání generací is a Saturday afternoon featuring entertainment, competitions, and other activities in Zlatá. The program includes welcoming new residents and congratulating seniors on milestone birthdays. Obecní uzení is a community smoking event at which participants can bring marinated meat, cheese, sausages, or other food, as well as already purchased smoked goods, to be reheated.

Activities

Jarní cyklovýlet is an annual bicycle tour. It starts at 10 a.m. at the pavilion on the sports field by the forest in Zlatá; the starting location and time have remained the same for several years. Podzimní cyklovýlet is a bicycle tour for children and adults. Drakiáda invites participants to bring their own kite.

The project “CESTY, KTERÉ NÁS SPOJUJÍ” focused on restoring the original field paths connecting Zlatá with Stupice, Sibřina, Sluštice, Křenice, Březí, Babice, Škvorec, Třebohostice, Dobročovice, and Květnice.

Geographical Location

Práče Fortress is located in the immediate vicinity of Zlatá. The Dolánka hill [Tismice] and Vysoký les hill [Klokočná] are also located nearby.
