During the guided tour of the Velkopopovický Kozel Brewery, the brewing process in the present-day brewhouse is explained. The tour presents a historic steam brewhouse from 1928 and traditional brewing crafts. For visitors aged 18 and over, the tour also includes a tasting of unfiltered Velkopopovický Kozel.

The Krajinou barona Ringhoffera route offers views of the Velkopopovicko Nature Park and the Posázaví landscape; it also includes an excursion at the Velkopopovický Brewery.

Nature

The Ovocný sad Pod Dubinami orchard is located in the Velkopopovicko Nature Park south of the settlement of Dubiny. It contains 20 standard fruit trees of old apple varieties. The orchard has a rest area with a bench made from a cherry tree trunk and an information board.

The Velkopopovicko Nature Park is used by residents for recreation and sports. In the nature park, the educational trails “Krajem Josefa Lady” and “Krajinou barona Ringhoffera” inform visitors about the nature and history of the region.

History

The private botanical garden in Dubiny covers 5,000 m². It was founded in 1997 and admitted to the Union of Botanical Gardens of the Czech Republic in 2013.
