Záryby lies on the left bank of the Labe, which also forms the northern boundary of the village.
Landscape and Nature
The Polabí u Kostelce natural monument includes areas in Záryby. It protects an exceptionally well-preserved floodplain of a large river, featuring a characteristic mix of alluvial forests, meadows, bodies of water and wetlands, as well as numerous rare plant and animal species.
Out and About Along the Labe
The paved Polabská cycling trail is eleven kilometres long and can be used by cyclists, pedestrians, wheelchair users and inline skaters. Along the route, there are eight covered rest areas with various play elements, as well as three original information stations with cranks.

In Záryby, Staročeské máje is celebrated in May. Martinské posvícení is a recurring local celebration in Záryby. The village is also home to the Výklenková kaple sv. Anny, a brick Baroque chapel dating from the 18th century.
