Kostelec nad Černými lesy Castle was built on the site of a 13th-century royal castle as a Renaissance château and was later redesigned in the Baroque style. The Černokostelecký pivovar brewery complex is an exceptionally well-preserved ensemble of industrial architecture with unique technology from the period of the First Republic. The National Museum of Brewing is located in the unique, authentic premises of the historic brewery, malt house and malt mill of Kostelec nad Černými lesy.

The Muzeum keramiky in Kostelec nad Černými lesy displays a collection by Michaela Třeštík and Jana Novák containing more than 1,300 ceramic pieces. Vondráčkova továrna has a newly established ceramics workshop open to the public. The ceramics workshop at Vondráčkova továrna offers courses to the general public teaching how to work with ceramic clay, throw on the potter’s wheel and glaze. Keramický den takes place regularly on the last Saturday in May. Černokostelecký pivovar offers beers from various Czech microbreweries.

The Lesárium nature trail is 300 metres long and includes 15 interactive elements. The nature trail to the wetlands in the FLD Arboretum near Kostelec nad Černými lesy provides visitors, at ten stations, with knowledge about various models of protected wetlands, with a focus on woody plants.
