Louňovice: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Louňovice History Trail was opened to mark the celebrations of the 600th anniversary of the first written mention of Louňovice. It has eight stations and is 6.3 km long; by skipping the fifth station, it can be shortened to less than 2 km.

Culture

The historical connection between Louňovice and the surrounding villages and granite quarrying and stonework was a good reason to establish the Kamenický Open-Air Museum in Louňovice. It displays exhibits donated by residents of the municipality and loaned by the Vysočina Museum in Jihlava. Just outside the municipal boundary lies the Kaménka Quarry, which is associated with the foundation stone of the National Theatre in Prague.

Nature

Voděradské bučiny is a national nature reserve that includes Louňovice and protects an extensive beech forest. The area can be reached from Praha-Háje by regular suburban bus routes 381, 382 and 387. Voděradské bučiny is easily accessible to cyclists; numerous cycle routes numbered 1, 0023, 0024, 0031 and 0085, as well as hiking trails, run through the area.

The Voděradské bučiny Educational Trail is 8 km long and has 8 educational stations.
