Mlýnský rybník is a flow-through pond on the Výmola at river kilometre 2.08, north of Květnice’s historic buildings.

History and Culture

The Květnice fortress was probably built around 1390. A stone bridge at the corner of K Dobročovicům and Ke Tvrzi streets in Květnice carries a local road over the Výmola stream.

The Květnický Mill complex comprises a farmyard and an interwar villa and is connected with Mlýnský rybník. The Nadační fond Květnický mlýn foundation organises concerts and other cultural events in Květnice.

The programme of the open-air cinema in Květnice includes family films, Czech classics and new releases.

At its opening on 27 March 2026, the multifunctional sports field in Květnice was open to the public; usual use was free of charge. The following opening hours were planned for the multifunctional sports field from 1 April 2026: from 1 April to 30 September, 08:00 to 22:00, and from 1 October to 31 March, 10:00 to 20:00.
