Černé Voděrady: Holiday Apartments and Houses

The Voděradské bučiny Nature Reserve protects an extensive beech forest. The trees in the upper half of the coat of arms of Černé Voděrady symbolize Voděradské bučiny.

Nature and Trails

In the Voděradské bučiny Nature Reserve, visitors may move only along marked trails; collecting mushrooms and forest fruits is prohibited there.

A section of the Voděradské bučiny educational trail leads toward Černé Voděrady and then continues along a forest path. The trail is considered an easy walk and is also suitable for children.

Cycling Route and Water

The Krajem Josefa Lady cycling loop connects the region’s municipalities and points of interest, passes through the hilly landscape of the Prague Plateau, and runs through Černé Voděrady in the east.

Černé Voděrady is home to the Voděradský rybník outdoor swimming pool. The Lenhartova spring in Černé Voděrady can be reached by car via a road; it is flowing and easily accessible.

Culture and History

František Groh, a classical philologist and archaeologist, professor and dean of the Faculty of Arts at Charles University, was born in Černé Voděrady on November 13, 1863.
