Sluhy: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Sluhy is home to a protected cultural monument, the Church of St. Adalbert (Kostel sv. Vojtěcha). The church is distinguished by unusual arcades surrounding its choir. It has Romanesque origins, was rebuilt in the Gothic style in 1270, and acquired its present appearance with chapel-like niches during a late Baroque renovation in the 18th century.

Culture and History

Sluhy’s immovable cultural monuments include the Baroque prismatic bell tower. The stone prismatic bell tower near the Church of St. Adalbert (Kostel sv. Vojtěcha) has four windows and dates from the 16th century. The rectory belonging to the Church of St. Adalbert (Kostel sv. Vojtěcha) is a single-storey building with a square floor plan dating from 1780.

Služský mlýn was originally a manorial mill founded by Jan Janda before 1573 and is now used as a residential building. There is also a monument to the victims of the First and Second World Wars in a park in Sluhy.

Landscape

The Mratínský potok and a pond are located on the southern outskirts of Sluhy. Chalk sandstone rocks emerge near the first houses in Sluhy. The rocks are highest there, and there is also a small cave.

Bus 377 departs from Globus and takes passengers to Sluhy.
