Mratín: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In Mratín, Baroque chapels, a château complex, and paths through the surrounding landscape come together. The Chapel of St Michael the Archangel is a Baroque chapel from the first half of the 18th century and retains its original interior. The chapel and the associated grounds are protected heritage sites.

Culture

Another sacred sight is the Chapel of St Francis Serafinský. The Baroque chapel, with its square floor plan, was built before 1712; its interior contains a sandstone sculpture of the saint.

The château of Mratín is a Baroque complex dating from the late 18th century. The château grounds include a former stable and a coach house. The former coach house with stables has a largely authentically preserved interior. The complex also includes a statue of St John of Nepomuk and areas of the former château garden with a surrounding wall.

The village also contains a rendered Empire-style gate with a semicircular vaulted passageway and the date 1808.

Nature

The Ďáblický stream flows through Mratín. Next to the Chapel of St Michael the Archangel stands a horse chestnut tree designated as a natural monument. There are two ponds in the vicinity of Mratín.

Paths

The land-use plan of the municipality of Mratín provides for footpaths in the built-up area and the surrounding landscape. It also provides for shared-use cycle paths and cycle connections. A yellow-marked hiking trail leads from Mratín towards Měšice.
